Happy Thanksgiving to U.S. Readers! + Heads Up on Sodium Today

This post is going to be extremely short, but wanted to make sure that anyone reading this knows this one thing in particular today.

Since it’s a pretty good bet that whatever holiday you are celebrating today or in the next few weeks there will probably be an abundance of food. Even with high blood pressure, most people will be eating foods that have more sodium than usual – and that’s probably putting it mildly.

What to do? First, just make sure you are also eating more foods with potassium such as walnuts, bananas, celery and oatmeal. (There's a larger list in my e-book, How to Lower Blood Pressure Fast! Control the Silent Killer with Natural High Blood Pressure Remedies. The celery actually has something in it that causes the lining of the blood vessels to relax so they open up a bit. So it’s a great thing to pick up off the relish tray!

Also, drink a bit more water to help flush the sodium out of your body.

Above all - don't stress, it doesn't have to be perfect - and Enjoy your day today! : )

P.S.  You probably don't want beets on Thanksgiving, BUT one of the BEST foods for controlling high blood pressure IS beets. You may or may not like them tho, and they sure can be a pain to fix, right? I’ve found the easiest way to eat beets is this way.
